Ed lives in Hudsonville, MI with his wife Norma.  They are located within 20 minutes of Grand Rapids, MI and just 2 miles from M-6 and I-196.   In 1982 Ed began his horse training career by working with youth.  He trained and coached many open and 4-H Show horses and riders.  He worked closely with his son Todd in both training and showing horses until Todd’s MSU classes restricted his efforts.  During that period they decided to focus their interests in training and showing reining horses.  In 1998 and 1999 Ed won the MQHA State Reining Championship on Easter Bells and Bar Cabilito.  Barr Cabilito qualified for the AQHA World Show in 1999 and shortly after that, Todd won an affiliate reining class representing MRHA with Easter Bells.

  We have continued our efforts with champions at the West Michigan Slide-in, in addition to MRHA pewter and bronze trophy winners.
