The Michigan Reining Horse Association is an affiliate of the National Reining Horse Association and was founded for the purpose of promoting the reining horse in the state of Michigan. It is our aim to advance the sport to a well organized and an equally well conducted event that everyone can enjoy. It is also our purpose to insure that every contestant desiring to rein, be provided a fair and equal opportunity. Therefore, a uniform set of rules and regulations governing a reining event was considered necessary.
